Entrepreneur Business Game (Board or simulation?)

Type of Game
Board game and/or simulation?

Objective
To learn the basic necessities to create a successful business (board
game). To actually create a viable and self-sustainable new business
(simulation for business groups like BPW or other business groups who
get together regularly - could be a competition)

Rules
You must use resources that are available to you. (BG: Pick three
cards from the resources pile that you actually have in real life)
Create a team of 5 people who will work on your project with you.
Network – infinite networks

Skills and tools
Use train up cards to train an accountant to an investor.

Systems
Five cards must be in use.

You must utilise as many of your community as possible. (Pick a
community pack) Your community must consist of at least one mentor.

[I'm leaning more towards a simulation game/competition between
members of a business group in order to not only create a business but
to also create jobs as well as an opportunity to mentor and employ
people to eventually take over the business - passing it on is part of
creating other leaders and successful business people.]

Trade Me Traders

There are a lot of people out there who use Trade Me to sell their
things, and a good number of them are selling up to relocate
elsewhere. There's also those who just can't be bothered to sell their
stuff themselves because they're too busy or something. So create a
business where people sell stuff on Trade Me on other peoples behalf.
Have a place where they can drop-off their stuff or have them
picked-up to be sold. The service includes taking photos, uploading
them, describing them, selling and dropping them off. A cut will be
taken from whatever has been sold (if there's anything that doesn't
get sold then they are donated) OR a flat rate will be offered for
particular services.

Pick and choose what services you want. You can always check your item
on Trade Me.

Perhaps make this as part of the Trade Me services?

Internal Staff Idea and Feedback Program

Have a program where your staff can send their ideas - big and small, frivolous and serious - to create a pool of ideas where potential 'real' work can be put into them. Use this for inspiration and letting the staff know you value every little idea they may have and if it's a viable and possible one to work on then allow them to work on it. Have a field where they have already identified particular skill sets that would be good to get the project up and running so that other staff may be able to lend their help where they see fit. Great way of tapping into your staff gold mine. Who knows what other business streams may come of it?

Also use this as a way for your staff to provide feedback on the circumstances and environment of the workplace. If they're unhappy with something then make it a place where they can post this and know it will be seen by the big boss.

Hmm. Need more work.

Notification of website changes

Able to attach a notification alert to any or all website page of your choice. Handy for people looking for jobs where they can attach the alert to the jobs page of websites and be notified with every change so they don't have to check back every time.

Google search - Double Ups?

Does Google search have a function where you can run a number of related searches and reveal which hits returns multiple times? So would come in handy with literature searches through Google Scholar...

Maybe that guy who's doing that PhD on 'Google search: Search for what you mean not what you say' or something...

Scrapbookland

A place that's like Lollipops Playland but instead it's to do with scrapbooking and it's for parents and kids. Caters to different levels of play time, from babies and toddlers (felt walls to stick felt pieces, balls, bouncy castles with the felt wall, large pop-out books, soft felt playground with paper doors and brad hinges) to kids, teens and adults (scrapbooking area with free materials, adjacent to a scrapbooking store where you can go in and out to purchase (individual or packs) things for your scrapbook you would be making in the scrapbooking area, weekly specials and free stuff, tutorials, people on-hand to help out, separate rooms for individual, quiet space to work etc).

Local Scrapbooking Themes

Create stationary and embellishments that are localised and themed for use by kiwis! Maori designs, farming and shearing embellishments, beehive and Sky Tower, silver ferns, All Blacks, sports, politics, pavlovas and pineapple lumps etc.

It's annoying finding abstract, antiquated and flashy designs that I don't relate to any of my stories I want to scrapbook about.
